Terms of Service

Last updated: March 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using APIDrift, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

APIDrift monitors publicly available API changelogs and release notes. We scrape, diff, and classify changes using AI, then deliver summaries via email digest. The service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid GitHub or Google account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

4. Free and Paid Plans

  • Free — monitor up to 3 APIs, weekly digest, 30 days of history
  • Pro ($12/mo or $120/yr) — up to 20 APIs, daily digest, 90 days of history
  • Team ($29/mo or $290/yr) — unlimited APIs, 1 year of history, additional team features coming soon

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the service or its data
  • Abuse API rate limits or attempt to overload the service

6. Intellectual Property

APIDrift and its content, features, and functionality are owned by APIDrift. The changelog data we monitor belongs to the respective API providers. We claim no ownership over third-party content.

7. Limitation of Liability

APIDrift is not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to missed changelog updates, incorrect AI classifications, or service downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
